Introduction / Chelsea's Wedding

My name is Sarah. I am a North Carolina native, travel enthusiast, and aspiring photographer. I became interested in photography about 9 years ago and have recently begun to dabble in wedding photography. I plan on using this space as a way to build a portfolio of my photography (wedding and otherwise), as well as a way to reflect on things that I love about shooting as well as any difficulties and struggles I may have!

One of my most recent projects was taking pre-wedding photos for my beautiful friend and bride, Chelsea. 

Photographing Chelsea and her bridesmaids was a low key, stress-free afternoon. They had several hours to get ready so there was not much of a rush in preparing. Additionally, the lighting in the hotel room they were getting ready in was beautiful. There was a large glass window with a sheer white curtain which let in just enough light to make for some very gorgeous photos. The relaxing atmosphere and great lighting made these some of the favorite photos I have taken. I have chosen some of my favorites from the day to show here. Enjoy!
